It ensures that healthcare providers, including GP practices, meet established standards of quality and safety. The CQC conducts regular inspections and provides ratings to help patients make informed choices about their care. Our practice is committed to upholding these standards, delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care to all our patients.

Westway's Most Recent CQC Inspection

Following our latest Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection on 10 August 2016, our practice was rated as "Good" across all areas. The report highlighted our commitment to safety, effectiveness, and patient-centered care, as well as our dedication to continuous improvement. We are proud to maintain high standards in all aspects of service delivery, ensuring that our patients receive compassionate, timely, and high-quality care.

GP Net Earnings

Average Earnings Calculation for the Year Ending 31st March 2024

All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

The mean earnings for GPs working in Westway Medical Centre in the financial year ended 31st March 2024 was £63,712 before deduction of employee's superannuation contributions, tax and National Insurance.

This is the average pay for the 2 full-time GPs and 7 part-time GPs who worked in the practice for more than 6 months during that year.
